The Package:

For only $60 per person, the package includes a choice of an entrée and a main course; or a main course and dessert at Mao Bar, plus a ticket to the current show at Centrepoint Theatre.

This is an exclusive opportunity to experience the best Palmerston North has to offer in fine dining and professional theatre. Mao Bar is located a convenient 5 minute walk from Centrepoint, and offers a menu that is a fusion of oriental and western cultures; while Centrepoint Theatre is the region's only professional theatre, committed to providing Manawatu audiences with high quality entertainment for over 30 years.

Red Jade Beef or Pork
With shitake mushrooms in an aromatic oyster sauce on a bed of seasonal vegetables and rice.

Chicken Breast
Marinated in a mild garlic dressing with a chilli breadcrumb coating to ensure succulent cooking, accompanied by side salad and vegetables.

Malaysian Chicken Curry
An authentic dish from South East Asia with coconut and coriander flavours, served with rice, Roti bread, mango puree and natural yoghurt raita.

Mapu Tofu (Vegetarian Option)
Hot Sichuan region traditional tofu chunks cooked with spicy bean sauce and served with Singapore noodles.

Plain Chicken Salad (Gluten-free Option)
Oven baked chicken strips on a fresh green salad dressed with a mango coulis and topped with crunchy kumara shards.

Desserts:

Japanese sticky date pudding
Served with ice cream

Peach & passionfruit cheesecake
served with ice cream

Trio of Kapiti ice cream

PLEASE NOTE:

All bookings for dinner and show are to be made through Centrepoint Theatre on 354 5740. Centrepoint staff will make all dinner reservations on behalf of the patrons. For enquiries please email vanessa@centrepoint.co.nz

PAYMENT:

For the dinner and show package, all tickets must be paid for at the time of booking. Dinner reservations cannot be made without payment and must be made no later than a week in advance.

Thursday - Saturday the show starts at 8pm so dinner bookings will be made for no later than 6:30pm at Mao Bar. For Wednesday shows at 6:30pm and Sunday shows at 5pm, reservations will be made for AFTER the performance.

The show is approximately 2 hours in duration.
